Houston Mullinix

Hi, my name is Houston Mullinix and I'm from the small town of Toccoa, Georgia. I have lived here for 19 years now and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I love the mountains and the streams and all the abundant wildlife that it has to offer. I currently go to school at the University of North Georgia where I am a sophomore. I have a family of 5, I have two brothers an older one (21) Mason, and a younger one (15)  Cruz. I love to be outdoors hiking, camping, fishing, or hunting. I spend my free time hunting all wild game species over the Southeast and fishing the abundance of lakes for Bass and fly fish the North Georgia streams for trout. I love to bow hunt the beautiful wild turkeys and whitetail deer. In my free time I like to spend time with my friends just driving dirtroads or hiking up to the next mountain top. I have nine dogs, 8 inside dogs all of them being Shih Tzus and one outside Chocolate Lab named Ruger, which is my hunting dog. I love to collect antique fishing lures and guns and love to paint wildlife scenary with girlfriend of 3 years. I plan to graduate with my bachelors in two years in Business Management and go back after two years to get my MBA. I graduated from Stephens County High School in 2017 and plan to graduate from UNG in 2021. I love to spend time with my family and friends on the weekends and watch sports whether its baseball or football. I use to play baseball until my Junior year in highschool, I tore my labrum and was never able to recover so ive spent all my time studying wildlife and their populations since then. I own a small local landscaping company, most of the busy work is in the Summer when my crew is mowing yards and redoing flower beds and such. In the fall we tend to mainly blow leaves, clean gutters, sell firewood, and a couple of other side jobs like pressure washing. I love to walk in the woods when Im bored and just watch and listen to the birds singing and enjoying the life that God has gave us all.
